IGTM
in PORTUGAL
The
next International Golf & Travel Market hosted by Estoril
& Sintra Golf Coast from 6-9 December 2004
After Jacksonville (Fa), Sun City (SAR), Biarritz (Fr), Punta
Cana (DR), the next International Golf Travel Market, the
“must to go show” in golf and travel organized
by Reed Travel Exhibitions, will be hosted by Estoril and
Sintra Golf Coast in Portugal from 6-9 December 2004 within
the Estoril Convention Centre and Casino.
In 1997, IAGTO established the International Golf Travel Market
(IGTM) which has become the industry's annual trade show,
now owned and operated by Reed Exhibition Companies, a world
leader in travel and golf exhibitions. IGTM attracts over
800 delegates (worldwide golf tour operators, golf resorts,
hotels, golf courses, receptive operators, airlines, tourist
boards) each December as it moves around the world in its
roving tour of emerging and established golf destinations.
“IGTM
has grown from strength to strength every year and I have
no doubt that Estoril will prove to be a fantastic host destination
in 2004. Through its exceptional facilities, architectural
heritage, casinos and nightlife it will provide the ideal
meeting place for all those involved in the golf tourism sector.
I look forward to welcoming both exhibitors and visitors to
this superb venue where IGTM will provide a comprehensive
business agenda as well as wonderful networking and social
events”, said Mark Walsh, Event Manager, IGTM.
With
its natural environment and mild climate Estoril is the perfect
location to play golf all year round. Boasting seven golf
courses all within a 15-mile radius, these architecturally
designed courses meet the requirements of every level of difficulty
up to the highest international standard. With its rich historical
past, monuments, sites of cultural interest, a wealth of museums
and the largest casino in Europe, Estoril will provide IGTM
delegates with the perfect balance between working at the
show in the day to enjoying the many leisure activities by
night.
