Open amateur tournaments at Vale de Lobo (Algarve)
Vale do Lobo, Portugal's largest luxury golf and beach resort
and venue for the Portuguese Open in 2002 and 2003, announces
two open amateur golf tournaments for 2004.
Amateur
golfers from all over Europe will be heading to Vale do Lobo
in the Algarve to play on the resort's two championship golf
courses at Vale do Lobo Amateur Week, taking place from 18th
-24th January and Vale do Lobo Open Foursomes Week from 9th
- 15th May 2004. Due to the great sporting atmosphere, outstanding
facilities and efficient organisation, many golfers return
year after year, hoping to win these popular amateur tournaments
Both
events take on a different format each day and are played
on Vale do Lobo's famous Royal Golf Course with its legendary
cliff top 16th hole and the beautiful Ocean Golf Course with
stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Packages
for each tournament are available from only £555 per
person including 7 nights luxury bed and breakfast accommodation
and unlimited golf. Car hire, a welcome cocktail party and
prize-giving gala dinner are also included and there is free
use of gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna and tennis courts.Golfers
booking directly with Vale do Lobo Tourism reservations will
also receive a personal Resort Card, offering further discounts
at shops and restaurants throughout the complex.
A
non golfer option is also available for a substantially discounted
rate. Golf entry only is available to book from £400
per person. Handicap limits for these tournaments are Men
- 27 - Ladies - 35.
