He works harder...

DUBAI, Feb 1 - Do you know why Tiger Woods has won so many tournaments in the world? "He hits the ball pin high," said Mark O'Meara, revealing the secret of Tiger's success during a golf clinic held by the world number one at the driving range of the Emirates Golf Club on Thursday evening.

"That's not all. Tiger works pretty hard on every aspect of his game and leads a very healthy life-style," said O'Meara. "He has got a very control and can hit the ball at any distance."

"Keep it simple," Tiger himself advised his fans who turned up in large numbers at the clinic, "The process and the thoughts are the same when you are hitting a driver or a wedge," said Woods, who conceded that he doesn't believe hitting the ball very long.

"I don't use all my reserves. The idea is to hit the ball nice and straight. Golf is a fluid game. One day your driver works well, but the second day it's not so good. You have got to keep working hard on every aspect of the game," he said.

What about putting? "Stay steady and release the blade. So simple," said Woods, who has won 55 titles on the US PGA Tour and 12 majors since he turned pro 11 years ago.

"It's because he keeps working hard to improve his game." said O'Meara.
