WHAT TO SEE
The city of Brisbane was created in 1842
along the Brisbane River and is the capital of Queensland. It is a modern town with its
office buildings downtown, but have a look at the City Hall and the square, cross the
river over Captain Cooks bridge and have a walk along the green banks where sail
boats are at anchor.
At Botanic garden, the main interest is in
the Australian animals: kangaroo, emu and the very cute koala.

In the south of Brisbane, Surfers
Paradise is, as it says, the paradise for surfers all along an immense beach fringed with
highly colored buildings which architecture has been evidently inspired by Miami Beach.
Its a place to have a walk along Beach boulevard, to take a drink at a terrace and
to have a look at the local fauna, beautiful people,

North of Brisbane, Noosa Heads is a sort of French Riviera
Saint-Tropez with a lot of fashion and souvenirs shops, cafe terraces and nightclubs.
And if you have some more time to spent, stay a few
days on the Barrier Reef which is one of the most important and attractive in the world.
It's a paradise for scuba diving and for glass bottom boat rounds.
