Where
to play (2)
- AROUND SAINT-REMY DE PROVENCE
- les Baux-de-Provence
The village and the site
of les Baux de Provence are well known and unforgettable.
The golf course is only nine holes but it’s worth to
play it at early morning or in the late afternoon to enjoy
the colours.
- Servanes
This is one of the most
challenging golf courses in Provence. The long hole n°4
is characteristic of the place: golfers feel there in perfect
like-mindedness with the mountaineer climbing the Alpilles
rocks… Olive trees, cypresses, high plane trees and
sometimes a strong mistral wind complete the environment of
this enjoyable course.
- Nimes Campagne
At 15 kms South from
Nimes and 3 kms from the local airport, the course of Nimes
Campagne (born in 1968) is known for its small greens and
narrow fairways between trees or along water hazard as #18.
The club-house called White House is a sort a copy of the
Washington Presidential Residence

- Golf des
Milles
There are six courses in the great Aix-Marseille area, but
the Golf des Milles is also known as the Golf d’Aix-Marseille
due to the fact that it is located in the new scientific and
industrial technopole area. It’s a championship course
at the doors of the two sister cities.
- Chateau l'Arc
Along the highway Provencale going to Nice, at the exit Fuveau,
Château l’Arc is a course to play if you like
the impressionist’s paintings. The well-known Sainte-Victoire
mountain painted under different skylights by Cezanne will
be just in front of your eyes at the tee 1and 5. If you feel
like a painter swap your clubs for brushes.
- La Salette
Near Marseille, La Salette is really hilly and narrow course,
but very near to the centre of Marseille while Allauch is
only nine holes but more welcoming with his fairways meandering
between plains and wooded hills.
- EAST
PROVENCE
- La Sainte-Baume
Located at 40kms from Aix, this course is considered as a
must floret of the Open Golf Club chain. Some holes are undulating
in the vineyards, some around the renowned Relais Châteaux
in the middle, all of them have the view in the Ste-Baume
Mountain
