Between Avignon and Arles, the Hostellerie
du Vallon de Valrugues is nestled in the quiet
environment of the Alpilles hills at Saint-Rémy de
Provence, at a drive shot from les Baux de Provence. It is
sort of a splendid typical Provence manoir where pines, olives
trees and multiple flowers are spreading all around.

Gordes, facing the Lubéron.
On the eastern side of the Rhône on the Vaucluse hills
facing the mountainous Lubéron range, the fortress
village of Gordes is settled on a peak like an eagle nest.
3000 years ago shepherds lived here in piled grey flat stones
houses called bories.
