Luxembourg has six golf courses on his national ground. Four are 18-holes: the Grand Ducal, Belenhaf, Chant Val and Clervaux; two are 9-holes: la Gaichel and Christnach. There is another one at the border: Preisch with 27-holes.

The Golf Club Grand Ducal
The eldest one. The course is located just in front of the Luxembourg airport exit and he was for long time the only one in the country. So that the Luxembourg Federation of Golf has had her main office here for long time and has hosted the European Golf Association. The 18-hole course is a par-71 of 5.782 metres length slaloming in a mixed forest of fir trees and timber trees with here and there bushes of broom, flourishing and smelling in the springtime. Narrow fairways between trees and bushes are the main difficulty of the course and need to playing straight in the middle. Virginian creeper cover the walls of the old charming clubhouse with a huge fireplace between pictures of all Prince and Princess whom played the course. The chef Jean-Philippe de Muyser is chevalier du Tastevin.

The Belenhaf Golf course Located at 15 kms from Luxembourg near Junglinster where the well known Radio-Luxembourg has settled transmission antenna.

There was here an old farm located in a green and quiet environment and in 1993 it became a golf course. The landscape is made of green meadows intersected by hedges and pounds. Very restful. Designed by the American player Larry Kreh, the course has a peculiarity: it is a par-35 for front nine and a par-37 for the back nine due to 3 par-5 in the back for just one in the front. The course has a lot of difficulties: natural obstacles, lakes, humid zones, hedges…

Kikuoka Country Club
Located at about 15 kms along the road going from Luxembourg to Remich, main city on the Mosel River. The course is a par-72 of 6.404 meter long, designed by a Japanese architect at the special request of a Japanese lady, Ms Kikuoka.

With his immense clubhouse, this course has the same difficulties as mainly American courses have: length, water hazards, but moreover 89 bunkers… The green of the 18th has nine bunkers all around and a pound just behind… Very spectacular for competitions.

Clervaux Golf Club
Located in the heart of the Ardennes forest, at Eiselborn.
It is a new tourist trump in this enchanting country where they're already so many. With a length of 6.190 metre, this 18-hole has been built with great creativity on the twisting wooded hills of the Cleve valley.

The clubhouse has been settled on the top of a promontory where the view goes all around: the main interest is the city of Clervaux gathered around the well known dominican basilica church of St Maurice abbey which pink slate roof are nested in the trees. The clubhouse deserves a special attention: 4 star hotel with assorted restaurant, sauna, solarium… And there is a training centre for beginners (and others) with practice, pitch and putt, and a compact par-3.
