Uniquely Golf In The Uniquely City
Where to stay
Singapore offers a wide variety of accommodation types to suit all budgets and preferences. More than 250 hotels range from backpacker, budget and youth hostels to boutique and five-star hotels. But there is only one "Sentosa Resort and Spa."
Formerly known as Beaufort Hotel, the Sentosa Resort and Spa is the luxury hotel located on the Sentosa Island just 15 minutes from the central business district of Singapore, and the luxury resort property is also adjacent to two 18-hole championship golf courses.
Located on the top of a lush tropical garden hill, the restyled and renamed Sentosa Resort and Spa is a sanctuary of tranquillity. Its modern oriental style architecture of square buildings fits around square water pools full of green vegetation where birds and frogs play a natural symphony. The low rise buildings of this old world charm hotel offer well-designed 210 guestrooms to a high-end clientele who appreciates its efficient service, superb facilities, modern amenities, and the Spa Botanica having also been awarded Singapore's best spa destination housing 14 indoor treatment rooms and 6 outdoor pavilions.
Restaurants : The Cliff is the award-winning restaurant of the resort. The menu reflects the creative spirit of Chef Shawn Armstrong, who prepares his dishes with a distinct modern French flair for connoisseurs of fine seafood and wine in a Japanese style design: show kitchens, cascading water features and a split-level platform built over lush jungle with commanding views of the South China Sea . The Terrace Restaurant is the hotel's all-day dining restaurant glass-roofed outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy natural tropical surroundings. The Champagne signature Sunday brunch is one of Singapore 's most popular. The Pavilion is the place to sip a drink at sunset or Five o'clock tea served on weekends.
Recreational Facilities : Of the amenities offered by the two golf courses of the Sentosa Golf Club, the 35-metre midnight blue swimming pool is a favourite with guests for leisurely swims. The beach is easily accessible by a short board walk through lush tropical jungle.
Tennis, badminton or volleyball is popular with conference delegates. Mountain bikes are available for hire to guests who wish to explore the island.
Access : The Sentosa Resort & Spa is easily accessible to downtown Singapore and the journey to the Central Business District usually takes little over 10 minutes. The resort operates two shuttles, every half hour from the Harbour Front Centre and every hour from the Paragon Shopping Centre. Taxis enjoy complimentary entry, whilst private cars can enter Sentosa toll-free when a pre-arrangement with the resort has been made
