Palm Beach Gardens
West Palm Beach get his reputation for his palm trees and
his long white sandy beaches along the channel which separate the continent and Palm Beach
island. To walk along the beach is always real pleasure admiring boat sailing along the
sea chanel and watching at the rich Pal Beach where all American (and other) fortunes have
erected royal residences and go shopping in Rolls Royce at Hermes, Tiffany's or Dior on
Worth Avenue, certainly the most expensive avenue in the world.
If you prefer, you can shop on the continent side at Palm
Beach Gardens and take opportunity of interesting discounts offered in different places
(Bloomingdale's, Berdine's, Saks Fifth Avenue…) to the residents of PGA National
Resort. Ask at the hotel for your International Shopping Passport.
For golfers, the Plam Beach Golf Center on Military Trail
is a temple of golf where you'll find clubs, shoes, carts, shirts and pants, and all sort
of golf gadgets even the most crazy.

For dining,
Cafe Chardonay, Carmine's (sea food), de Ceasars and many others offer a full range of
good to very good food. Ask the concierge at the resort, he knows the place where you want
to go. And you are coming from or going to Miami,
take the opportunity to spent at least one or two days and trip around in the city. Miami
has changed his look; the city is safe and one can walk around without appehension. Go to
Bayside Marketplace for shopping or having lunch on a terrace in front of the Rock Cafe.
But moreover go to Miami Beach and have a look on the art Deco quarter where old genuine
buildings have been restored in their original style and colours. Have a long walk on
Ocean Drive where a young and exotic crowd is living 24 hours along. Have a seat in a
caffe and look at photographs are picturing the mannequins along the seashore. And in the
evening have a stone crab at Joe's at the end of Biscayne street.
For those who have a little more time, go and visit for a
day the wonder of the Everglades Natural Park. The place is unique with thousands of
coloured birds living in a preserved natural reserve. And on the way back, don't miss the
visit and the trip in an aerial boat to an alligator farm.
