PGA
National Resort and Spa is the headquarters for the PGA of
America and host the annual PGA Senior's Championship. It
is one of these places in the world where to go at least once
in a golfer's life.
The resort is located in a
2.340 acre community in Palm Beach Gardens at the northern
tip of Palm Beach County, at 15 miles from Palm Beach International
airport and about one hour and a half drive from Miami International
airport. The resort is at five minutes from the ocean beaches,
deep-sea fishing, famous Worth Avenue and Gardens Mail shopping
The award-winning PGA National Resort & Spa offers more then
three hundred newly renovated guestrooms and 80 cottage suites, five 18-hole tournament
golf courses, a sea-water spa, 19 tennis courts, nine swimming pools; a world-class
croquet complex, a 26-acre lake with private beach and sailing, seven restaurants and
lounges, and a more than 10.000 m2 conference centre.
The first conclusion is very
simple: for golfers which are cloistered for winter months
in their frozen or sad northern countries, it is the ideal
place to go to play golf in the sun, particularly for seniors
who have more time available than other people.
