Sofitel Dalat Palace
Due to its altitude at around 3000 feet which, mahes its climate
smooth, Dalat is often called the City of Eternal Spring and
is probably one of the most delightful destinations in Vietnam,
home to the New Style Sofitel. Built in 1922, this stunning
property has been recently restored to its former grandeur
and is surrounded by lakes, waterfalls, and one of Asia's
premier golf courses. Luxuriously-appointed 43 rooms and suites,
gourmet restaurants and well-stocked bars combined with excellent
conference and recreational facilities, the Dalat Palace golf
course and mountainous countryside, have made this French
colonial property a must to return to.
Amateurs of art will certainly appreciate the old colonial
style furniture and the paintings on the walls which are all
extraordinary copies of very well known impressionists' masterpieces,
while amateurs of Pim's n°1 will enjoy their favourite drink
in the jazz atmosphere of the astonishing Rabelais Bar.

The original Du Parc Hotel, built in 1932, has been elegantly
and painstakingly restored and is now the perfect base to
explore the surrounding countryside, the Xuan Huong Lake,
or simply take in a round of tennis or golf.

front of the Novotel, La Poste
is an old relay of post horses and has been transformed by
the Accor Group as a restaurant for both Sofitel Palace and
Novotel. It serves in an very original and friendly ambiance
from breakfast to fine cuisine with recipes blending French
and Vietnamese tastes.
Dining
out: Nearby the central market, Maison Lon Hoa
is said "family restaurant" where owners serve very
fine traditional cuisine in a friendly old style way.
